There are so many beautiful wildflowers in bloom right now! I have pressed a few and some are dry enough to become a magnet. I plan on spending some time foraging for more.

First time being a vendor in eight years!
I signed up to be a vendor at the Dresden Night Market this Saturday, November 26th! I decided this a couple months ago and forgot how nerve wracking it is! Luckily my good friend who owns Kombucha Hound is joining me and we are setup next to each other! I thought doing an event like this after moving back to South Western Ontario was a good way to put myself out there. My friend from college is one of the organizers so I know it will be a great event! I will be selling some original pressed plant and textile...

I decided to create some magnets to sell at the Terrace Art Gallery! I kept telling myself to put my work out there and had some others tell me to do it.. anyway, I finally made a small amount of stock to sell. It’s been on sale there for over a month and a few have sold already! Check it out in the gift shop next time you stop by. The Art Gallery is found in the basement of the library in downtown Terrace.
Kids Camp
A few months ago I was asked to attend the local kids camp for the morning to make buttons with the kids. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the kids loved it! It was at the local Art Gallery so I knew these kids would be keen artists. I brought along magazine clippings, pressed flowers, markers and construction paper for them to create three buttons each. The kids were all so eager to have their button made and they wanted to stand around my table and watch me make them. I would love to attend events in the future...
